I think I'm getting a bit closer to what I want. Not exactly there yet but a bit closer. PROGRESS *lightning cracks*

No over the top shine on the hair here but that doesn't mean I won't be using it in the future. I might try and tone it down a bit but it'll still be there because frankly I dig it. I think with the background I have it wouldn't have really worked to have shine on the hair.

The background is by ~randomflashbang btw. Ho yes.

The picture was a bit random was with it being just a test picture so again no story behind it. Just Hath strutting along, bottle of water, coat. And that's it.

Walking down an alley with yer crap in yer hand. THERE'S NO NEED FOR A STORY WHEN IT'S A TEST.

I will start doing my own backgrounds again but for tests, stock images work that much better.

EDIT: Already noted about arm length so need to comment on that further if it crosses your mind and hair shine. I'm keeping it in mind for the future. Holy crap I can actually critique with a smile now! This must be a sign of...*gulp* growing up. Or a sign I want to learn. Or both. But still, I don't approve of maturity!

I think the shine in her hair would have worked, given the shine on her pants. It would have tied in nicely. Also, and this could just be me, but her arms seem a tad short. Hands usually come down to mid-thigh, and her hands seem to only go to her hips.

Otherwise, very dashing!

Good point. To be honest. I forget about the shine of the hair until afterwards when I was looking for a background. So the shine on the trousers should have probably gone.
Hmm you're probably right about the arms. I wouldn't have noticed it myself but I suppose they are. Duly noted for the future :)

...Creepy images of you just staring at people ensue. But duly noted. It's only until I stood up after your comment and I looked down that it really dawned on me. It's not something I tend to think about. Arms are one of those things I usually draw to a length that seems 'right' to my eye. But yeah, I think some people watching is needed. Failing that refer pics online :D

Well I like it a lot. I know you are still working out your test pictures but I really love the "vibe" you got going here. Her attitude and the shine of the pants, the hip chain, and the epic hotness of her hotness.
I sort of get a sense of what your aiming for and I want to go along for the ride. :w00t:

...Nope. It's a hobby. And as soon as I open a book about anatomy, it feels like a chore. I will eventually though sooner rather than later but still.
