Enigma's one and only henchgirl, Sphinx. i.e. the only one who can tolerate how crap she is at crime.
I always thought that Sphinx would have been a good henchgirl name for one of the Riddler's henchgirls or associates or even King Tut's henchgirls. Unfortunately the closest we've ever got is Sphinx the ex-stripper in that awful The Question issue, Riddler's Romance, who ended being an old sow. Oh and the 'sphinxette' in the Dark Knight, Dark City who didn't last very long :S Also I wanted to give Enigma someone to stand by her side. Everyone needs a bit of help, however reluctant. Sphinx aka Rebecca Okoli doesn't make any excuses for Enigma and lets her know on various occasions that she is less than impressed. However, she's very loyal. And truth be told she's probably more interested in the woman behind the visor than crime. Thought I'd downplay the Sphinx theme and make her outfit more futuristic with a few Egyptian touches rather than going the wole hog. I just realised her outfit looks a bit Fifth Element. Hmm. |
